The beauty of LED lights is getting access to a vast array of bright, vivid colors, while saving a ton on energy. When it comes to "white" LED Christmas lights, there are really two colors of white: warm or cool.
Warm white mimics the look of incandescent bulbs, so these LEDs have an orange-y tint, like the glow of a candle. Cool white (or sometimes called "pure white") mimics the color of white when illuminated by the sun—technically natural white. These LEDs have a blue-y tint that to our eyes appears natural white.
Both colors of white are used in our displays to serve particular purposes. Items that are depicting "snow" or "winter" will use cool/pure white, whereas items that are depicting nostalgia, warmth, or comfort will utilize warm white.
